Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the tall and short beanies?
Tall Beanies:
- Designed to have extra fabric at the top. Think: Carhartt beanie style.
- They are made-to-measure based on your head circumference measurement.
- Brim and the length of the beanie are calculated for you.
Short Beanies:
- Designed to rest flush against the top of your head.
- They are made-to-measure based on your head circumference measurement as well as your desired brim and hat lengths.
What if I can't take measurements?
The patterns include measurement references if you can't take measurements.
How do these patterns work?
These patterns are interactive pdfs. To use them, they must be opened in the free Adobe Reader app.
In the pattern, you will input your gauge and measurements, and the pattern will automatically populate all of the stitches and rows you need to work exactly where you need them throughout the pattern.
